Kundalini Yoga & Meditation

Kundalini Yoga is the original and most powerful of the twenty-two schools of yoga, all of which are
beneficial. The Yoga Sutras (writings) say that what you can achieve in 12 years of Hatha Yoga, plus 6 years
of Raj Yoga, plus 3 years of Mantra Yoga, plus 1 year of Laya Yoga can be accomplished in a single year of
perfectly practiced Kundalini Yoga.
Kundalini Yoga is designed for the active person with responsibilities in school, work, family and the world.
It was maintained as a secret oral tradition for thousands of years which protected the techniques from
abuse, but also created an unnecessary image of mystery. Kundalini Yoga can be practiced by anyone if it is
done gradually and according to the instructions.
General Benefits of Practicing Kundalini Yoga & Meditation:
Keep or get your body in shape, increase oxygen capacity, boost blood flow, balance the glandular system,
strengthen the nervous system, increase natural immunity, have a strong and flexible mind in the face of
stress and change, reduce stress-induced toxins such as adrenaline and cortisol, heighten self-awareness
and vitality, harness mental and emotional energy, feel more in control of thoughts and feelings, enhance
peace of mind, deepen concentration, find inner calm, access intuition and self-confidence, expand
awareness, fulfill the soul's yearning for higher consciousness into daily life, and find your highest potential!

Home Practice
Having a home practice is essential if you are serious about raising your Kundalini energy and
transforming your being. Actually discipline is the most beautiful gift you can give yourself.  Discipline is
the ONLY path to becoming a Master of your own Mystery.  The DVD's available today are a wonderful
way to gain confidence in a daily practice.  Buy a DVD that seems appropriate and set yourself for a 40
day practice. Or better yet, scroll below to my online Kundalini Studio and check out the kriyas and
meditations to choose your practice. Watch what happens!

Diet & Lifestyle:
Kundalini Yoga, in its original practice, was meant to be used in conjunction with a perfect vegetarian
diet.  I am not a nutritionist and therefore cannot recommend a silver bullet diet for everyone, however
you can research on your own and find an excellent and healthy way of eating.  You are what you eat
and no amount of Kundalini Yoga will transform a body that is consuming fast food, junk food, or toxic
food.  It will certainly help slow the problems ahead but they will come unless you make a change in your
diet.   For the ultamite and cleanest diet for today's living please
check out my favorite nutritionist
Marlena Torres.  She will help you get on the path to your healthiest but most delicious diet!  And your
yoga practice will soar!!
